I’ve decided to give you a list of my favourite apps I have on my iPhone. I am sure most of these are available on android as well :)
Some of these, you may already have, some you may have never even heard of!
*I didn’t include: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
Mint.com – FREE – I was a bit skeptical at first, but this app is AH MAZING! If you’re spend happy, this is the app for you! It uses the same security software your banking apps use, so it’s completely secure. The initial set up takes a couple minutes, but it’s all completely worth it. You can either set your own budgets, or it’ll set them for you! At the end of the week, you’ll get weekly financial summary, close to credit and upcoming bill notifications. I HIGHLY recommend trying out this app!
Pinterest – FREE – If you’re a Pinterest user like me and are completely addicted, like me, this is a great app! Have all your pins and boards with you! At the grocery store and see something that reminds you of that great recipe you saw but can’t remember what else you need? This app will definitely come in handy!
Snapchat – FREE – If you’re one that likes to send goofy pictures to your friends, but don’t want to suffer the humiliation of screen capture? You can set the amount of time it shows on your friend’s screen, it doesn’t allow them to screen capture it and if they try to, the app will notify you!
Map my Walk – FREE – This is great if you want to track your walk, run or bike ride! It even tracks through trails, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to get an accurate reading if your route of choice goes through one! If you don’t want to constantly use the GPS for the same route, you don’t have to use it, select a previous route, it’ll use previous data and current pace to track your stats!
Motion X: GPS Drive– $0.99 – This app is great if you don’t need the voice command (that costs extra) and need it for a once in a while GPS. I personally paid the extra for the voice, so that on my bike, I can just listen to the directions.
Songza – FREE – A great app with pre- made play lists: “Driving”, “Energy Boost”, “Brand New Music”, “College Life”, to name a few. These pre-made lists, go based off of the day and time of the week. I love this app for getting ready in the mornings because I don’t have to listen to commercials on the radio.
Rdio – FREE (2 week trial) – Want to listen to a band’s whole discography? Rdio is awesome when it comes to searching and listening to music – only downside is after 2 weeks the monthly subscription goes up to $14.99 (nothing in life is free, right?). At the very least, take advantage of the 2 weeks! Plus side? It has unlimited listening of radio stations :)
Countdown+ – FREE – I am one of those people who LOVES to know how many days until my next special event (As of Oct 7 at 3:35PM EST: 53 days until Janine’s Birthday (and the P!nk concert), Christmas: 78 days, Anth’s birthday: 82 days) I also like to know how many days it’s been SINCE an event, I’m weird, I know! (504 days since I took home my motorcycle). It has a nice, bright layout – definitely great for counting down to a birthday or vacation!
App of the day – FREE – Everyday, this app updates with apps that typically range in price, from $0.99 – $9.99 (that’s the most expensive I’ve personally seen) for absolutely free!
Tone It Up – $0.99 – set the in app alarm for your morning “booty call”, get your motivation from the in app message board & workouts and recipes from your trainers K&K ♡
*These are all personal recommendations based on my experiences
Hope you enjoy!
